Short version: this site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and no comment form, so there is very little of you here to collect.

Analytics

We run no analytics on this site — no tracking script, no beacon, no pixel. Our host keeps standard server request logs, which include IP addresses, for a short retention period. We read those logs only as aggregate counts — how many requests a page got, and which automated crawlers came by — and never to build a profile of an individual visitor.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. If you click an outbound link to a retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies under its own policy — including, where we participate in an affiliate program, a cookie that tells them the visit came from here. See the affiliate disclosure.

• Hosting and CDN: cloudflare-pages.
• Analytics: none
• No advertising networks, no data brokers, no tracking pixels.

Your requests

Mail hello@thetravelgearguide.com to ask what is held about you, or to ask for it to be deleted. Since we hold no account data, the answer is usually "nothing beyond aggregate page counts", and we will say so in writing.
